As far as I know, one can still pay for API access, if one is willing
to accept the horrible terms of use associated with Google Translate.
But then one need to apply for an API key.
There are also legal issues to considered, like the issue brought up
on <URL: http://aqtext.com/blog/google-translate/ >.
I would not accept the terms for Google Translate to translate any of
my .po files.
